Write your script at a desk, open the same page on any device in front of the camera, and read. Miracue scrolls at your pace, waits when you stop, and finds you when you jump back. There is no account to create and nothing to install.
Press the microphone button and read aloud. The script only moves when your spoken words match the text, in one continuous glide. Go off script to ad-lib and it holds still. Re-read an earlier line and it comes back to meet you. Speech recognition runs inside your browser, so your audio never leaves your device, and a red dot shows whenever the microphone is live. Because the model runs on your own device, voice control works best on a computer or a higher-memory tablet such as an iPad Air or Pro; on a standard iPad or phone the browser may end long voice sessions, and everything else, including scrolling, remotes and foot pedals, works fully everywhere.
No account, no time caps on voice control, no script expiry, and nothing to cancel. The full teleprompter is free to use.
Scripts stay in your browser, on your device. The optional travel link carries an encrypted copy that we cannot open, and we never ask for your email.
Any modern browser on iPad, Android, PC or Mac. Add it to your desktop or home screen as an app if you like.
Mirror modes for beam-splitter glass, a reading zone at lens height, Bluetooth presenter remote support, and a screen that stays awake for the whole take.
Paste from Word or anywhere else and the formatting is cleaned while your paragraphs stay put. Scripts autosave as you type.
Miracue is built and used by Lumira Studio, a UK video production company, for its own filming days. It exists because we wanted it ourselves.
Go to this page on any device and press Open Miracue. A starter script is waiting in your library.
Paste or type your script. It cleans itself and saves as you go.
Press play for a steady scroll, or press the microphone and let it follow your voice.
Yes. The full teleprompter is free with no account, no time caps on voice control, no script expiry, and nothing to cancel. Folders and document import are extras for studio accounts; everything you need to write and read scripts is free.
No. Scripts are saved in your own browser, on your own device. If you use the Take with you link, your scripts travel as an encrypted copy that we cannot open, because the key stays inside your link and never reaches our server.
No. Speech recognition runs inside your browser on your own device. The recognition model downloads once, about 65 MB, and is stored on your device, so after that voice control also works offline. A red dot shows whenever the microphone is live, and pausing switches the microphone off.
Any modern browser on iPad, Android, Windows, Mac or Linux. There is nothing to install, and you can optionally add it to your desktop or home screen as an app.
Yes. It has horizontal and vertical mirror modes for beam-splitter glass, the screen stays awake during a session, and inexpensive Bluetooth presenter remotes work for hands-free control.
No, and that is deliberate. Your camera records; Miracue prompts. It never sees your footage, which also means there is nothing for us to watermark or hold back.
Miracue runs in the browser you already have. If it earns a place in your kit, add it to your desktop or home screen from inside the app.
