Video for instrument makers & music brands

Music and instrument brand video production.

We film the sound, the feel and the players, so an instrument comes across on screen the way it does in the room.

The showreel

The Kawai Novus hybrid piano launch.

A recent launch film for Kawai UK.

Where video fits

A spec sheet cannot tell someone how an instrument feels to play.

Instruments are chosen on sound and feel, and that is exactly what a photograph and a list of specifications cannot carry. A launch, an artist at the keys, the detail of the cabinet up close: film is what lets a player sense the instrument before they ever touch it.

Where it usually gets stuck

The things we hear from music brands.

None of these are unusual, and all of them are workable. It helps to name them at the start.

01

Sound and feel do not fit on a page

What makes an instrument worth choosing is how it sounds and feels. That is the hardest thing to put into text and photographs, and the thing film does best.

02

A launch comes and goes

A new instrument gets one moment of attention. Without content that keeps working, the launch fades and the story stops.

03

One launch has to serve many channels

The main film is only part of the job. Dealers, social channels, product pages and artists often need their own versions of the same story. We plan those before the cameras come out.

How it works

One session, and a set of films you keep using.

One well-planned session at a launch, a showroom or a performance gives you a hero film, a run of short films for social and photography, all captured together. You keep it all, so the instrument stays in front of players for months after the day itself.

Filming the music

How we work around the performance.

A launch or a session has its own rhythm. Here is how we film without getting in the way of it.

01

We plan around the music

We agree the pieces, the artists and the moments in advance, so the filming supports the performance rather than interrupting it.

02

We capture the sound properly

Instruments live or die on audio. We record and treat the sound with the same care as the picture, so the instrument is heard as it should be.

03

We are comfortable with artists and events

Launches, showrooms, trade shows and live performances. We work calmly around players and schedules, so everyone stays at ease.

04

We plan rights and approvals early

Where a production involves artists, performances or third-party music, we agree the intended use and the permissions before filming where we can, so there are fewer surprises later.

£3,500one filming session

The clearest way to know whether this works is to try it once. A Pilot Session is one filming session at a launch, a showroom or a session, with video and photography captured together. We turn it into a hero film and a run of short films for social, delivered within twenty-one days. If you continue with us within sixty days, half the fee, £1,750, is credited against your first six months. Every number, and the monthly plans, are on the pricing page.

Common questions

Good to know.

Will filming get in the way of a launch or performance?
That is the thing we plan hardest to avoid. We agree the key moments in advance and film around them, so the performance and the guests come first.
How do you handle the audio?
With real care. We record and mix the instrument properly, because sound is half the story, and we treat it with the same attention as the picture.
How do you handle music rights and artist permissions?
We agree the intended use and the permissions before filming where we can, whether that is a performer, a venue or third-party music, so there are fewer surprises at publication.
Do we own the films?
Yes. The finished films and the footage we capture are yours, to use across your channels, campaigns and dealer network, without coming back to us for additional usage fees.
How much does it cost?
A Pilot Session is a fixed £3,500 for one session and the finished content. Ongoing plans start at £3,000 a month. The pricing page sets out every number in full.
