Services · Discovery + Continuity
Social media video production for a regular flow of useful content.
A common problem is having one good film, posting it once, then having nothing ready for the weeks that follow. We plan social media content as a run rather than one piece at a time, so a filming session produces several useful films with a clear place in the schedule.
Where this fits
Much of the cost of a filming day sits in the planning, travel, crew and setup. Once everyone is there, planning several useful pieces into the same session usually makes better use of that investment than commissioning them one at a time. That is why we ask what the next three months need before we ask what the film should look like.
Most first projects start from £3,500, the fixed price of a Pilot Session.

Vertical cuts, made for the feed
Vertical social films from a single filming session at St Pancras, for Kawai UK.
The longer films from the same sessions
Delaware North at the Emirates FA Cup Final.
Unisort x Kingston University, a manufacturer case study.
What this covers
A purpose, a channel and a place in the schedule.
We also plan where the content will be used. Each piece should have a purpose, a channel and a sensible place in the schedule rather than simply being delivered as a folder of films. Some clients publish everything themselves; for others we can help with scheduling and publishing as part of the wider programme.
Short-form social films
Vertical and square cuts built for the feed, not cropped from something else afterwards.
Founder and expert pieces
The person who knows the subject, answering the questions buyers actually ask.
Product and process films
How it works, how it is made, why it is different.
Customer stories
Short testimonial cuts from the same sessions as the longer case studies.
Event cut-downs
One day at a conference becoming weeks of posts.
Photography alongside
Stills captured in the same session, so the grid matches the films.
Filmed once, planned properly.
The largest example we have is Kawai UK. They wanted to post twice a week for a year, which is 104 pieces of content, with the budget for one filming day. We wrote 104 scripts before the day, found a building with eight rooms so one location could hold eight setups, and ran two crews. Everything was filmed in a single day and edited within the month. Not every business needs that volume. The principle is the same at a smaller scale: decide what the business will need first, then plan the filming around it.
The finished films and the footage behind them are yours, to use on your website, in sales, at events and in recruitment, without coming back to us for additional usage fees.
Decided in advance, then filmed.
Preparation is usually the main constraint on how much a filming day can produce, so most of the work happens before anyone picks up a camera.
What the next few months need
We start from the schedule rather than the shot list: what has to go out, to whom, and on which channel.
The subjects written before the day
Scripts, questions and shot lists agreed in advance, so the session is planned around the content it has to produce.
One session, cut for each channel
Video and photography captured together, then cut to the formats the pieces will actually live in.
Regular content programmes for Kawai UK, Timber Connection, Delaware North and Trekinetic.
One session, and the schedule has something in it.
The clearest way to know whether this works is to try it once. A Pilot Session is one filming session at your premises or on location, with video and photography captured together. We turn it into a hero film and a run of short films for social, delivered within twenty-one days. If you continue with us within sixty days, half the fee, £1,750, is credited against your first six months. Every number, and the monthly plans, are on the pricing page.
